Eat here twice on a previous visit to London and loved it so  decided to try again this time when meeting up with our daughter....restaurant was virtually full and busy with a good vibe so glad we booked..fab garlic bread, spaghetti and prawns and gnocchi bolognese and a couple of drinks ....little delay with a (forgotten?) side order but didnt diminish from a nice   evening ...very enjoyable

We travelled from Suffolk to attend a wedding at Islington Town Hall. The location of the cafe was ideal.   It was an extremely enjoyable visit with lovely food and friendly helpful staff.  Highly recommended.

In London for a trade show and this restaurant is a convenient distance from the Hilton hotel.  The food is lovely and the staff are attentive.  This is definitely one of our &#39;go to&#39; when we are in Islington.

The food, in particular the starters, was really quite wonderful. Service was a little slow at times, but other than that, a really enjoyable dinner.

First time dinning here and was very pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Excellent roast served until 8 on Sunday. Service was very polite and friendly. Will definitely return. Sunday parking was easy there.

The pasta dishes were perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful, with authentic sauces that tasted homemade. The pizza was equally impressive &ndash; a crispy yet soft crust, delicious toppings, and just the right amount of cheese. The staff was friendly and attentive.

Lovely restaurant with Italian staff.  We go to Italy often and it was a pleasure to find an Italian restaurant that was able to offer such a great experience outside of Italy.  The food was excellent.

I cannot begin to express how pleasantly surprised I was with my total dining experience at Mangia Bene. I was visiting Islington while in town from New York for a family wedding when I stumbled upon the reviews for Mangia Bene and decided to try it. The food was phenomenal, the staff was friendly and engaging &amp; the value was excellent. While I was at the wedding I recommended it as a great experience to anyone that would listen.  I loved Mangia Bene

We been there many times and it is always wonderful both in service and the food. It does not matter if they were busy or otherwise.

Very attractive and the menu is very affordable. I like the delicious mango food inside. You can see the sunset and night view of London, and you are quite impressed with the desserts here.

Excellent food and a beautiful restaurant. Would highly recommend the Ceviche and belly pork.It was busy and only two waitors working so service was a little slow.
